I attempted to go to the American bartender school around March during the Covid pandemic. Much in the same way it took me 2 minutes of MY time to call out of class while sick. I would like to be reimbursed from the amount i paid for classes for my troubles these past 2 weeks seeing as how this could have CERTAINLY been avoided had someone sent a mass email, which would have taken less than 5 minutes of someones time. ![]() Photos of proof of payment for the aforementioned are enclosed. I paid $15 round trip last week 12/3 and about $10 in tolls plus another $20 for a parking garage today 12/10 to get to class, just to turn back around. At more than $900 for a 5 week course, and with a director (or instructor, not sure whom it was i met with when i toured) who prided herself on the schools BBB accreditation, i find it so ironic that in light of the circumstances here i am emailing the BBB in regards to their lack of not only courtesy but professionalism. At no point did i receive any email or notice of any kind that class would be canceled, yet i receive unnecessary marketing emails from the school almost daily. Myself and another student who commuted all the way from ********** stood outside and waited about 20 minutes, checking to see if maybe the door had unlocked or the delivery elevator in the side entrance would go to the 5th floor where class is held (which it did not) before ultimately leaving. Last week 12/3 and today 12/10 i commuted all the way into midtown manhattan for class and was greeted by a sign on the lobby door that said class is canceled and to contact admissions for rescheduling. The week after was thanksgiving and the school was closed in observance of the holiday. ![]() ![]() The following week 11/18 i called the school to notify them i would not be coming in for class 11/19 as i had the flu.
